Sure Win Slot Game
There never seems to be a shortage of new slot games. It is so easy to rebrand an existing game with new pictures and sounds, such that every month there are 5-10 ‘new’ slot games to check out across the casinos we track. As silly as this is, I think we all enjoy playing a theme we can relate to, even if the only difference is the pictures.
I decided to give “Sure Win” a try at one of my favorite Microgaming casinos. With the Belmont Stakes coming up in a week, I thought a horse racing themed slot was appropriate. The game had the normal bells and whistles which are characteristic of Microgaming slots. Very well done graphics, although not the best I’ve seen. I really like games, like this one, which doesn’t have any 9, 10, J, etc as symbols.
There is a bonus game triggered when 3 scatter symbols appear. I never made it to the bonus round, but the rules indicate you can choose between:
- 12 pulls at 4X multiplier
- 16 pulls at 3X multiplier
- 24 pulls at 2X multiplier
The game itself features 5 reels with 25 lines. You can bet up to 20 coins per line – 500 coins total. Playing just a penny, this is $5 per pull. Luckily for me, when I play a new game I play in free mode – with funny money. After about 30 minutes, playing fairly fast, I was already down $400. Obviously, I had long losing streaks without even a partial win. Either that’s bad luck, or the paytable or reels needs fixing! With the top payout 7000X, I felt like I had extraordinarily bad luck and quit playing. I don’t want to discourage this slot, as it is lots of fun. I probably just had a bad day – I doubt the overall payout on the machine is any worse than the others at the casino – typically 95-98%.
