So tonight I tried out another Microgaming game, called “Alley Cats,” a game featuring a bowling feline theme.  The icons are really kitchy and cute, and they all look like Disney movie character alley cats, with various bowling paraphernalia (pins, balls, trophies, etc.).  The music was okay, it was upbeat and kept me entertained without taking away from the game.  The game itself was actually very fun, but it was very laggy at times…also the load time was ridiculous.  Regardless, you should take the time to play the game, and here’s why.

This is a 5 reel x 9-line game, with 20 coins per line ranging from $0.01-$0.25 wagers per coin, yielding a $45.00 max bet, which is what I played for 15 minutes.  I quickly went down about $200, but it did not take long to recoup, primarily through bonuses, which are frequent.  Practically every spin yields a win, so the payout is very high on this game, and you are almost guaranteed a payout of roughly 20% of your original bet.  There is a scatter bonus symbol which, when hit 3,4,or 5 in a row, will trigger either a bonus game or 20 free spins.  I hit the free spins once and the bonus twice, all three of which resulted in payouts of over $2000.00.  In the bonus game you simply select items at the end of the alley and a cat bowls them down for a coin value, you get three picks.

Overall this game was a lot of fun.  The laggy time periods got a little on my nerves, but the payouts were well worth it.  In the end I wound up $2400 up after 15 minutes of play, which was with 3 bonuses and several good wins during regular play.
