Casino Blacklist

The opinions expressed on this page is our opinion. Please realize other may see things differently. While some casinos reputation is practically beyond repair, most of the problems stem from heresay and complications from most any situation when mone is trading hands. We hope casinos will take the negative press as a stimulus for change - to take an inherent house edge and at least give their customers the courtesy they expect.

The Blacklist

The name blacklist is overused, but appropriate.  Sometimes gambling outfits get themselves into trouble…  It happens.  We saw one poker room have issues with a rumored superuser.  A normally honest casinos database was stolen.  Issues with player credit and paying on time.  Not all these places are bad casinos - but the bad press and temporary space on a blacklist until the issues are resolved (or facts are known) is sometimes necessary… so watch this space.

Golden Arch Casino
Golden Arch has a few bad things going for them right now:
  • Line of Credit: Once depositing, your account is automatically credit with an additional amount as a line of credit. You cannot deny the line. Problem is, use of the credit line forces 30X rollover before you can cash out. We feel this is unfair, since the credit line should be treated the same as any other deposit. Plus, we worry about honest people losing more money than they intended... There is no secret that gambling is addictive and limits should be set by the player, not the casino.
  • Terms and Conditions: awful. There are extremely low limits for the amount you can win, and even lower limits for the amount you can withdraw. At least 2 week delay when requesting a withdrawal as well.
  • Banking Info Required: Your checking account number and routing code as a safeguard on their credit line. This information can so easily fall into the wrong hands. It shouldn't be required, but be made optional should you like the credit line.

What they must do to improve:
It's simple... Take a look at licensed/regulated casino and offer terms at least as good. Good customer service goes a long way. Second, they must make the line of credit optional and remove the playthrough requirement.
