.: Big Five Blackjack Casino Game Review
Big Five Blackjack is yet another popular variation of the casino classic with a few added twists along the way to excite the game even further. To play Big Five Blackjack players will be playing with five decks of cards, so using a multi-deck blackjack strategy chart is recommended for this game. Once players receive their cards they will have different set of rules as to splitting and standing than your regular standard Vegas game.
Some interesting guidelines that players should be aware of are;
You may split up to 3 times giving you four hands to play with. Each hand will have a wager on them equal to your original bet. This rule applies to all cards except AA which can only be split once than has to stand. Once you have made the choice to split you also have the option to double down. In Big Five Blackjack you are allowed to double down on any two cards with a wager the same as the first bet laid.
Players will notice that they do have a “late surrender” option that enables you to forfeit half your bet if you feel that your hand is running behind. The only time you will not be allowed to surrender is when the dealer is showing an A. If the dealer is showing an A than you must play out your hand as you normally would.
Knowing when you should surrender and when you shouldn’t is something that beginners need to learn and is an important aspect to saving your bankroll. Every game of blackjack has strategy charts for players which will help minimize your loses and maximize your wins. Finding one that is applicable to the game you want to play will also help you learn how to reduce the edge the house has.
